Privacy Policy

With the browser engine — the default — your audio never leaves your device. Speech recognition runs in the browser itself, and we receive no recording. We do not store audio files.

If you switch to the AssemblyAI engine, your audio is streamed to AssemblyAI for transcription. It reaches them, not us; we hold no copy.

The transcript stays in your browser until you ask for something to be done with it. Pressing Reformat or Detect actions sends the text to our server, which passes it to OpenAI to produce the result, and returns it to you.

When you are signed out, nothing is kept: the text is used to answer that one request and then discarded. Nothing you do while signed out survives closing the page.

When you are signed in, the session is saved so you can find it again: the transcript, the actions detected in it, and their drafts.

• OpenAI — rewriting and follow-up detection. Receives the transcript text when you ask for either.
• AssemblyAI — transcription, only if you select that engine. Receives the audio stream.
• Google — sign-in. Provides us your email address and account identifier; we ask for nothing else.
• Railway — hosting. Our servers and database run there.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train models.

For a signed-in account we store your email address and account identifier, your saved sessions (transcript, detected actions and their drafts), and a session cookie that keeps you signed in for thirty days.

Saved actions stay until you delete them. You can delete any of them from the app, one at a time, and they are removed from our database.

Two values are kept in your browser and never reach us: how many free runs you have used, and your light or dark theme choice. Clearing your site data removes both.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected]. Deleting your saved actions in the app already removes them from our database.

If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you these rights and the right to complain to your data protection authority. Our lawful basis is performing the service you asked for.

If you record someone else, the law where you are may require their consent. Meeting that obligation is yours, not ours — we have no way of knowing who is in the room.

We may update this policy. The date at the top says when it last changed.
